"WEDDING BELLS FOR BRETT" - Blurb
This is what I've come up with as a possible blurb for "WEDDING BELLS FOR BRETT" (Brett Cornell Mystery - #4):
"Gary N. and Helen W. Trank of 66 Colstone Boulevard take great pleasure in announcing the recent nuptials of their daughter Pamela Ann, and Brett Cornell. . ."
The above words appeared in the local newspaper, and thousands of women throughout the city immediately went onto mourning -- Well, not exactly.
But private detective and self-proclaimed unscrupulous bastard Brett Cornell nearly went into cardiac arrest when, shortly thereafter, he received a personal home visit from Homicide Lieutenant James Wilson.
It seems that a beautiful young heiress had been found dead in a hotel suite under mysterious circumstances, and it wasn't clear whether she could be identified as Pamela Ann Trank. . .Pamela Ann Densen. . .or Pamela Ann Cornell !
A short walk down the aisle?
Or a long prison sentence?
Brett once again lets his weakness for money and beautiful women get the better of him in this fourth Brett Cornell novel set in the late 1980s.
The novel itself should be available on Amazon before the end of the month.
